Before Booking

Practically Perfect House is just 10.7 miles from the entrance to Walt Disney World® — about a 20–25 minute drive, depending on traffic and which park you’re headed to. The home is located in the highly popular Davenport/Clermont vacation corridor, surrounded by dining, shopping, golf, and family activities. Guests love that it’s close enough to the magic for easy park days, but still offers a peaceful retreat to recharge after the excitement.

Toll Roads (A Smart Tip For U.S. Guests–SunPass Option):
If you visit Florida often, a SunPass is a great long-term choice. You can buy a SunPass transponder at Publix or Walgreens for about $10, load it in the SunPass app, and use it on all Florida toll roads and express lanes. The best part? You can move it between cars — including rental cars — just update the license plate in the app before you drive. One pass, many trips, zero hassle.

Toll Roads (A Smart Tip for UK & International Guests):
Florida loves toll roads — but paying extra for them is optional! If you’re flying into Orlando (MCO) and renting a car, we highly recommend the Visitor Toll Pass. It’s a free, temporary toll pass made just for visitors and works on all Florida toll roads, including SunPass roads and express lanes. Pick it up at the airport rental area, hang it on your mirror, and drive straight through like a local. Be sure to decline the rental car company’s toll package — those plans usually charge daily fees and cost far more than the tolls themselves. With Visitor Toll Pass, you pay only the actual tolls you use. When your trip ends, simply drop the pass back at the airport before returning your car. Easy, affordable, and one less surprise on your bill.

Home to Holiday is a pet-free retreat, designed to be an exceptionally clean, allergy-friendly haven for all of our guests. To keep the environment fresh and worry-free, pets of any kind are not allowed.

In compliance with the law, trained service animals are always welcome (emotional support animals are not recognized as service animals under the ADA). If you will be traveling with a service animal, we kindly ask that you let us know in advance so we can prepare the home appropriately.

Please note that:

  • Service animals must remain under the handler’s control at all times.
  • Animals may not be left unattended in the property.
  • supplemental cleaning fee of $150+ will be charged if the animal creates extra cleaning needs such as hair, odors, pests, or stains.
  • Guests are responsible for any damages caused by the animal.

We truly appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide a sparkling, allergy-friendly stay for every guest.

Check-in time begins after 4:00 PM, giving our team plenty of time to prepare your villa so everything is fresh, sparkling, and ready for your arrival.

Early check-in is rarely available, as we want to make sure every guest has the same high-quality experience. That said, if your villa happens to be ready ahead of schedule, we’ll send you a message right away so you can start your vacation a little sooner.

Unpack, unwind, and let the relaxation begin!

Yes. There are two parking spots in the driveway for registered guests. We ask that you not park (or allow guests to park) in the street overnight. Please especially avoid parking in the street on Mondays, which is trash and yard waste pickup day.

Practically Perfect House is located in a peaceful neighborhood where guests and residents alike come to relax. To keep that atmosphere, Polk County enforces a county-wide noise ordinance, and we ask our guests to follow it during their stay.

Here’s what it means for you:

  • Excessive noise — whether from music, TVs, amplified voices, barking pets, or vehicles — is not permitted if it disturbs neighbors or interferes with their enjoyment of their homes.
  • Quiet hours are especially important from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, when sound carries more easily.
  • Poolside fun, family conversations, and backyard grilling are all welcome — just keep the volume at a level that doesn’t travel beyond the property.

Why it matters:

  • Respecting quiet hours ensures a comfortable stay for everyone in the community.
  • The Sheriff’s Office may respond to noise complaints, starting with a warning and escalating to fines or citations if disturbances continue.

Think of it this way: enjoy your fun, but keep it to a volume your “practically perfect” neighbors would appreciate. This way, everyone’s vacation stays magical — yours and theirs.

No smoking or vaping of any kind is permitted — indoors, outdoors, or even in vehicles parked on the property.

This includes tobacco, marijuana, and e-cigarettes.

$300+ deep-cleaning fee will be charged if any smoke odor or residue is detected.

Candles, Open Flames, & Incense

  • For safety and freshness, no candles, incense, or open flames are permitted anywhere on the property (other than the grill).
  • Battery-operated candles are welcome if you’d like to create cozy ambience.

Thank you for helping us keep Home to Holiday a clean, safe, and relaxing getaway for every guest.

No—Practically Perfect House is designed for family vacations and quiet getaways, not parties. Large gatherings, events, and celebrations that exceed the registered guest count are not permitted. The home is limited to 10 overnight guests (two per bedroom and two in the common area).

Our goal is to keep the home safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for all guests, while being respectful to our neighbors. If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and make magical memories with your family, you’ll feel right at home here.

Yes! Pool heat is available during the cooler months (October–May) for $40 per night. To schedule it, please let us know before your arrival so we can notify our cleaning crew. The pool heater will be turned on the day you check in. Depending on the weather, it may take 24–48 hours for the water to reach full temperature. For the best experience, we recommend booking pool heat for your entire stay if you’d like consistently warm water. Please note: no partial refunds are provided if the pool has not yet reached full temperature during the first 1–2 days of your stay.

We provide a starter pack of supplies.

To help you plan, here’s what we provide as starter supplies in the home:

  • Toilet paper (a couple of rolls per bathroom)
  • Paper towels (1 roll)
  • Kitchen Trash bags (a few to get you started–but you will need more)
  • Dishwasher pods & dish soap (starter pack)
  • Laundry pods (starter pack)
  • Hand soap
  • Small toiletry kit (shampoo/conditioner/bar soap)
  • 4 K-Cups of coffee, 2 K-Cups of tea, 2 K-Cups of Hot Chocolate and some sweetener packets
  • Liners for the regular coffee maker

These basics cover your first night or two. For the rest of your stay, we recommend either bringing additional supplies, making a store run, or using the Instacart Concierge service or AirBNB delivery service.

Instacart Concierge service so you can start your holiday without a grocery run. Simply share your shopping list with us in advance, and our concierge will stock the pantry and fridge before you arrive. Guests love being able to head straight to the pool or the parks instead of the supermarket. Service fees apply, and you will need to provide a four digit access code as part of the delivery instructions. Your host is happy to provide that code the day before your arrival.
